BIRMINGHAM CHAIR MASSAGE

POLICY

CONTRACTS: All appointments for more than 4 hours must have a contract signed by the person responsible for paying for the service. Appointments for 4 hours or less may be secured via email with a valid credit card securing the appointment.

DEPOSITS: A 50% deposit is required for all new chair massage clients.

CANCELLATIONS:
  • Chair massage contracts for up to 6 hours require 72 hours (3 days) cancellation notice. Less than 72 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% to your card on file. Less than 48 hours (2 days) notice will result in a charge 75% to your card on file, Less than 24 hours notice requires payment in full, made to your card on file.
  • Appointments for over 6 hours require 7 days cancellation notice. Less than 7 days notice will result in a charge of 50% to your card on file. Less than 96 hours (4 days) notice will result in a charge of 75% to your card on file, Less than 48 hours (2 days) will require payment in full, made to your card on file.

    PAYMENT: Credit card information is required to secure ALL appointments. A 50% deposit is required of all new chair massage clients. Payment of the balance may be paid at time of service by business check or cash, or the credit card on file may be charged.

    SPACE NEEDED: A minimum of 6'X6' (preferably more) is needed for one therapist to perform chair massage. An additional 4' width is needed for each additional therapist.

    SET-UP: The therapists will arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time. It is your responsibility to have a location ready for them to setup and to have someone available to escort them to the location. Any delays will cut into the contracted time to perform massage but will not reduce the price.

    THERAPIST BREAKS: The contracted time includes a paid 5 minute break each hour for each therapist. If a therapist will be there more than 4 hours, we may require an unpaid 30 minute meal break to be scheduled. Time waiting for the next person to come sit down does not count as a break because the therapist is not free to leave.

    SCHEDULING: The contract is for a period of the therapist's time, not a specific number of massages for a certain amount of time each. We encourage you to use a schedule so that each person can be ready at a specified time to maximize the number/time of massage actually performed. A blank schedule can be provided for your convenience.
